It's Friday, again! Well, actually, it's Saturday...

My, my, how the week does fly by!

But, I did do my weigh-in yesterday!

Current weight: 173.9
Change from last week: -1.9lbs.

How'd you guys do?

I've been getting last minute things together for Christmas, and I still have a ton to get done! I'm going to give you an incredible recipe in my next podcast, the only catch is that it's not lite, it's not diet, it's definitely not sugar-free, but it's amazing! We deserve a treat every once in a while. But more about that soon!!!

Hi Beth! I'm new listening to your podcast, but not so new at the weight loss journey and yo-yo. Anyway, I downloaded all podcasts available and have listened to 1 & 2, and also just put 2 on pause so that I could run and subscribe to the Prevention Walking thing you mentioned!

I've done WW in the past... that was last New Year's resolution (started at 213 & got down to 197 after 12 weeks or so) but then stopped going to the meetings... doh. Anyway, slowly my weight has crept back up to 206... and I'm starting again, yet I'm going to try to see if I can pick up where I left off, yet not go to meetings or do the online meetings.

Anyway... long story short... I'm so glad I found your podcast!! You're already motivating me and I feel encouraged!!!

I've got lots more podcasts to listen to, plus some walking stuff to get my legs & feet moving! I'm so excited! (Especially since my clothes that I had finally gotten into from last years WW success are now too snug to feel comfortable. Uggh!)

Thank you for these pods cast!! They are so interesting and it is nice to be going through this with you! I have been trying to loose weight for about 3 years now and I just found out in October 06 that my thyroid was toooo high!! Well I was glad to finally find out why I was NOT loosing weight!! And now I have lost 12 pounds in 2 months! I am now at 205 so you see I still have a very long way to go. I look forward to listening to your pod cast and finally losing the weight that I have been fighting with for so long!

Beth,
I have heard a lot about this 'cleansing'. Do you know any thing about this and if you do, is it good for the body? I tried that lemon cleansing and yuck... you have to drink 1 liter of water in the morning with non-iodized salt… oh my goodness that tastes soooo bad yuck yuck!! I thought I would ask my Dr the next time I see her, but I was just wondering if you had heard any thing about it. Oh and by the way I could only do the lemon cleansing for 1 ½ day.

Hi Beth!

I'm just starting to listen to all your podcasts, and I must say you are great to listen to and have as a motivator!

I've been struggling all my life to lose wieght and now even my doctor is warning me that it's starting to effect my health so I'm going to have to really take this seriously. My biggest problem is being consistent - I can be good for a couple months, but then something will make me fall off the horse and all my progress will be lost. I need a lot of help with not putting my health at the bottom of the list of things that are important.

I love reading about health and weight-loss related topics, so I have a wealth of information to share even though I have trouble implementing it all myself!!
I look forward to listening to all your podcasts!
