Weigh-In...

I know it's been a while, but seeing the numbers going up instead of down is a bit of a downer.

Ok, here we go:

Current weight: 181.4
Difference: +3.5 lbs

Well, it has been almost a month since I last weighed in, by the way, sorry about that guys! But know that I do keep track of my weight at least 4-5 times a week and write it on my calendar. You could use a pocket calendar to keep track, too!

I have to make a reminder for myself every Tuesday to post my weigh-in. Have you ever heard about what happens to pregnant women's brains? Mush-city! I have a short term memory of about 1 1/2 minutes.

Take care now!

Hi Beth! Enjoy your pregancy... and try not to let the rise in the scale tinge that joy ;) I know that's hard to do, especially when you've been successful at losing. You will be successful again following giving birth, have no doubts :)

I posted a while back, and first started listening sometime after Christmas. Boy, I've been just watching the number on the scale go up and I'm almost back to the origional starting weight when I began WW in 1/06. I'm so sad about this... truly regretful. I started then at 213.8 at 5'10 1/2", and I got down to 196, which was already feeling like such an improvement with no jelly roll on my belly. But, steadily over the summer, then fall, then winter, and now the beginnings of spring (and without actively going to WW meetings) I have just added a little at a time and I'm back up to 210.

How sad!!! And it really makes me furious.

Every morning I think to myself "I know I've been successful with WW before, I'll start again today counting my points, etc. (yet not officially go to the meetings), and I'll get back at it & track, etc. and all will be well! BUT, then by lunch I've forgotten and already made mistakes and or eaten things (cookies or sweets) that would mean my DPA would be gone! *sigh*

I've been asking my husband to allow us to get an Elliptical, b/c with my two young children it's really hard to go exercise... so we're thinking about it, but I secretly wonder if I should just suck it up and go to WW again with my tail between my legs, and hope that I can stay with the program if I'm accountable to weekly meetings.

Aaaagh. Sorry for the vent... as you can see though, I needed it. Please continue the podcasts! I'm desperate!

Hi Beth, Phew! It took me a while to get logged in with my google account. I had to set up a blogger Google account and a blogspot which I don't think I'll use.

I love listening to your show and every day I check to see if you have an update. I have always struggled with my weight and now I'm 51 and let me tell you if you think it's hard now, wait until you hit "the change". Even skinny types complain that they can't figure out where the extra pounds are coming from. Right now I feel like I can't do anything to take it off. It's a frustrating feeling. I think on one of your shows you should tackle tips on how to pull yourself out of a funk. How to get renewed motivation...Keep up the great show! You are fun to listen to.

Don't get too down Beth. Edison took 9000 tries to geth the light bulb to work. When asked about it he said every time it didn't work, he knew one more may NOT to make a light bulb. You can do it.
